@ Elsewhere
There’s lots of options for people in other situations.
Here’s a few ideas:
- Email: If you’re a member of a email list: at work, a club or sport, social group, etc, send them a brief email saying the government is planning to bring in mandatory filtering - censorship - of the internet. Give them this address to find out more: www.censorfree.com.au
- Action: Depending on your job, you could be a mobile billboard. If you drive a truck or a taxi, put a sign on your window: Government to censor internet in Australia...and alert people to where they can send a protest message, and also find more information: www.censorfree.com.au
- Draw a cartoon! What does net censorship look like to you? A bunch of sheep in a paddock? Swimmers drowning? 10 green bottles? (Don’t forget to send it to the Minister and other politicians (see under @uni above) and to us.
